PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS JANUARY 11, 2011
Chairman David Hardtke posted three notices of tonight’s meeting.
Attending: Chairman David Hardtke, Supervisor Steve Tadsich and Ken Paplham, Clerk Linda Sinkula, Treasurer Pat Wotachek, Constable and Zoning Administrator Dustin Smidle. Others present: Ed Augustian, Larry Walechka and Assessor Al Kohnle.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman at 7:30 P.M. in the Town hall.
MINUTES of the Regular Monthly Board Meeting of December 14, 2010 along with Special Meeting December 28, 2010 were handed out. Ken Paplham made a motion to accept as stated. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
ZONING: Thomas Kent- roof on home & Dale Bruechart-metal roof on shed.
SURVEY MAP: Steven Zeither brought in a survey map for approval for Eugene and Judith Kreicher. Motion made by Ken Paplham and second by Steve Tadisch. Motion carried.
TREASURER REPORT: Balance as December 31, 2010 $1,096,322.72. Board thanks the treasurer for this report.
BARTENDER: A motion was made by Ken Paplham and seconded by Steve Tadisch to approve the Bartenders License for Melissa Horstketter. Motion carried.
BAR LICENSE: A motion was made by Steve Tadisch and second by Ken Paplham to approve the bar license for Agri Heritage. Motion carried.
FIRE DEPARTMENT: Ed Augustian talked about buying pager for the department. They have money in their budget for this and the remainder of money will come from the Fire Fighters Fund the department has. Steve asked the department for a roster and inventory of the fire department. Larry Walechka talked about replacing the other tanker. The tank is rusting. Eddie Augustian stated that it is a two year process to get a new truck so the town should be aware of this. Larry stated that we don’t need all the bells and whistles we have on the new one just one that is comparable to the one they have. Larry stated that all the members of the department love the new truck.
TAX PAYER complaint: Al Kohnle brought in paper work showing the days he received the paper work and showed similar property on how he assets the property. Chairman Hardtke will put this on next month’s agenda and ask tax payer to come to next month’s meeting.
WORKING LAND: Chairman Hardtke talked to Edith Lauscher and she stated that the County Board passed a resolution signing up the whole county in AG-1 Land. The reason she stated that the county passed it is so the farmers are eligible for the farm land presevation program. Clerk has a meeting tomorrow and will ask county what they have done so far with this program and when? What do the Townhsips have to do for the working land program?
PAY BILLS: A motion made by Ken Paplham to pay bills. Steve Tadsich seconds this motion. Motion carried.
A motion made by Steve Tadsich at 9:00 P.M. to adjourn. Ken Paplham seconds this motion. Motion carried.
