PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS AUGUST 9, 2011
Chairman David Hardtke posted three notices of tonight’s meeting.
Attending: Chairman David Hardtke, Supervisors Steve Tadisch, Ken Paplham, Clerk Linda Sinkula, Treasurer Pat Wotachek, and Constable Dustin Smidle, Zoning Administrator Dustin Smidle. Others Present Mark & Mary Weston, Julie Siegmund, Dale Jandrin, Mark Kranz, and Brian Boulanger.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman at 7:30 P.M. in the Town hall.
MINUTES of the Regular Monthly Board Meeting of July 11, 2011 along with minutes July 25, 2011 were handed out Ken Paplham made a motion to accept as stated. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
PUBLIC IMPUT: Mark & Mary Weston came before the board to introduce themselves and explain that they are going to be leasing Gib’s tavern and would like to open sometime in October.
SURVEY MAP: Brian Boulanger brought in a survey map for approve for Doris & Gary Oswald. A motion was made by Ken Paplham and seconded by Steve Tadisch to approve the survey map for Doris and Gary Oswald. Motion carried.
ROADS: Dale Jandrin (Highway Commissioner) came in with a bid for the replacement of culvert on Norman Road from Kewaunee County Highway department. Price would be $5,077.31 and Town would apply for bridge Aid on this. A motion was made by Ken Paplham and seconded by Steve Tadisch to do this project and fill in bridge aid form for this project. Motion carried. Clerk filled in form for Bridge Aid and sent it along with Dale.
TREASURER REPORT: Balance as July 31, 2011 of $665,011.82. Town thanks Treasurer for this report.
DOMINION: Mark Kanz talked about updated to plant. Plant received the report from Japan and there were a few recommendations in there that the plant will have to follow.
FIRST RESPONDERS: Steve stated that Mike Huber applied for a grant for portable radios and received a total of $4,800. With this money the responders will buy a portable and a mobile radio.
BUILDING PERMITS: Mary Bradley-siding & windows, Bret Ritz-House and garage, Kelly Damsheuser- windows, siding and remodeling, and Bob Dworak-shed.
COMPUTER: Clerk informed the board that her computer has crashed and took it in for repairs. Board made a recommendation that if it cost too much she should just re-
Place it with a new laptop.
N-1-ZONING DISTRICT: A motion was made by David Hardtke to send the updated version of the N-1 District to the Plan Commission for a hearing on it. Ken Paplham seconded this motion. Motion carried. Hearing will be September 15th at 8:00 P.M.
LICENSE: A motion was made by Ken Paplham and seconded by Steve Tadisch to approve a Temporary Retailer Class “B” license for wine for Agriculture Heritage. Motion carried.
FUEL: A motion was made by Ken Paplham and seconded by Steve Tadisch to go ahead with the prepaid fuel for the Townhall. Motion carried.
PAY BILLS: A motion made by Ken Paplham to pay bills. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
A motion made by Steve Tadisch at 9:15 P.M. to adjourn. Ken Paplham seconds this motion. Motion carried.
