PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MONTHLY BOARD MEETING APRIL 12, 2011
The Chairman David Hardtke posted three notices of tonight’s meeting.
Attending: Chairman David Hardtke, Supervisors Steve Tadisch, Ken Paplham, Clerk Linda Sinkula, Treasurer Pat Wotachek, Constable Dustin Smidle, and Zoning Administrator Dustin Smidle. OTHER PRESENT: Mark Kanz, Ed Augustian, gene Baumgartner and Brett Ritz.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman at 6:45 P.M. in the Town hall.
MINUTES of the Regular Monthly Board Meeting of March 8, 2011 were handed out. Ken Paplham made a motion to accept as stated. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
CEMETERY GRASS CUTTING: Ken Paplham made a motion to hire Gene Baumgartner to cut the cemetery and town hall grass for 2011 for a total of $1,800. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
DITCH GRASS CUTTING: A motion was made by David Hardtke and seconded by Steve Tadisch to hire Woodside Custom Cutting to cut road ditches for 2011, for a total of $16,490. Motion carried.
ZONING REPORT: Brett Ritz came before the board to ask members to lift the moratorium so he can build a house 300 feet off the road. Question does he need a variance or not for this house. Chairman to call Jeff Sanders and find out what Brett may have to do in order to build this house.
TREASURER REPORT: Balance as March 31, 2011 of $646,129.74. Board thanks the treasurer for this report. Ken Paplham made a motion to have the treasurer transfer 21,500 from general account to equipment account. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
BAR LICENSE: A motion was made by Ken Paplham to approve the bar license for Agriculture Heritage Farm. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
NUCLEAR PLANT: Mark Kanz gave and update about the plant. They are done with outage. Outage lasted 29 days.
TOWN HALL IMPROVEMENTS: A motion was made by Ken Paplham and seconded by Steve Tadisch to paint the two bathrooms including paint for
$225.00, Kitchen for $175.00 and to also paint the three doors. Motion carried.
ROADS: David Hardtke made a motion to approve $10,000 for crack filling. Ken Paplham seconds this motion. Motion carried. House # signs are being put up.
PAY BILLS: A motion made by Ken Paplham to pay bills. Steve Tadisch seconds this motion. Motion carried.
A motion made by Steve Tadisch at 9:50 P.M. to adjourn. Ken Paplham seconds this motion. Motion carried.
